Volunteer:

Volunteers are the backbone of our respite ministry at Peachtree Christian Church. We could not function without an incredible volunteer base who possess a wide array of skills. The Legacy Club: A Community Respite for adults will certainly be the best day of your week! Volunteering your time to respite is a commitment and we ask that when you volunteer you try to attend for at least 2 consecutive months (even if it's only 1x per week or 1x per month). 

The volunteer culture at The Legacy Club is one of encouragement, empathy, and engagement. We do our very best to make sure all feel welcome and valued while spending their time with us. We seek volunteers of all ages and enjoy the beauty of intergenerational ministry. Volunteers contribute significantly to the planning and execution of our daily activities designed to engage participants socially, cognitively, physically, and spiritually. We look for volunteers who have positive "can-do!" attitudes and jump in wherever needed. Flexibility and understanding are key! We will follow a daily schedule packed full of meaningful and joyful activities, which include (but are not limited to):

• Art

• Crafts

• Music

• Service projects

• Games

• Bible study

• Exercise

All volunteers must meet with the Director, complete training/orientation, and complete a background check before serving the respite ministry.

*Vaccinations are required for all volunteers and participants.
