A life-giving opportunity for Peachtree Christian Church to gather with congregations from across Georgia is coming soon. The Christian Church in Georgia will hold its Regional Assembly on April 23–25, 2026, hosted by Ray of Hope Christian Church. This year’s assembly will include the installation of our new Regional Minister, Rev. Dr. Adam Harmon, who recently visited Peachtree Christian Church and spent time with our congregation and staff. The gathering will also feature preaching by Rev. Terri Hord Owens, General Minister and President of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and Rev. Dr. Cynthia Hale, pastor of Ray of Hope and host for the event. In addition to worship and fellowship, the assembly will offer continuing education opportunities for clergy that align with regional requirements. All are warmly invited to attend and experience this meaningful time of worship, learning, and connection with the broader church. The registration deadline is April 10, 2026. For more information and to register, please visit the Christian Church in Georgia website: https://www.gadisciples.org/regional-assembly-2026 Rev. Aaron Smith, M. Div. Wednesdays | March 25 and April 1 | 7-8:30pm | Online Scripture often tells stories about God’s people finding themselves in a deep pit. Many psalms offer prayers to God out of deepest sorrow, pain, or even despair. Why do you think that is so? What circumstances put God’s people in those dark places? How do they get out? What does all that have to do with Lent, with following Jesus to the cross, the grave, and the resurrection? Join us as we examine passages that help us reflect on these questions and invite us to rely on God when we find ourselves in the depths.

An Altar in the World Maundy Thursday & Good Friday Home Gatherings Join us in the spirit of the first followers of Christ as we gather in homes across the city to share the Last Supper, keep vigil, and journey together toward Easter Sunday. This Holy Week, we are marking Maundy Thursday and Good Friday through a combination of gathered worship and home-based prayer. Maundy Thursday will be observed through home gatherings across the metro area, where we will share a simple meal and remember Jesus' last supper in the spirit of the earliest church. On Good Friday, we will continue our longstanding tradition of a noon service in the sanctuary, and we will also offer an evening contemplative gathering in a home setting for those who wish to keep vigil together as we journey toward Easter morning. Sundays | 10am | 1st Floor Youth Room Our Youth Sunday School class for middle and high school students (6th-12th grade) is designed to help teens connect with Scripture in a real and meaningful way.
In this 45-minute session, we'll explore how God’s Word speaks directly to the challenges and decisions teens face every day—whether it's friendships, identity, faith, or purpose.

Midtown Assistance Center (MAC) has been a trusted partner in our community for nearly 40 years, helping hardworking Atlantans avoid eviction, keep the lights on, and put food on the table. Since 1986, MAC has walked alongside individuals and families facing financial crisis with dignity, compassion, and practical support. This year, MAC is celebrating its 40th anniversary with its first-ever Big MAC Bash, a festive evening featuring neighborhood-inspired food stations, live jazz by the Joe Alterman Trio, and special recognition of Dorothy Chandler, MAC’s Director Emeritus. Peachtree Christian Church is warmly invited to join the celebration. All proceeds from the event support MAC’s mission to serve families and individuals across 10 Atlanta zip codes.
