ADULT EDUCATION
Vibrant adult education has long been a hallmark of Peachtree Christian Church. From serious bible studies to dynamic programming, we are indebted to those who have prioritized Christian education with an eye toward how faith can be lived out within a community of faith, hope, and love.
We seek to honor this legacy while thinking about best practices in our ever-evolving context. Peachtree offers educational opportunities that are edifying, enriching, and honoring of God and neighbor.
Young Adults
We seek to connect young adults to an intergenerational faith community with place and purpose for them, as well as creating space for sharing the experiences, questions, and opportunities unique to their stage of life.

Family Life
At Peachtree, we value life-giving intergenerational relationships. Our ministers and lay leaders partner together with families to help lead our children and youth to follow Jesus. We are a church that strengthens and actively supports our families. Children are an important part of our community and are always welcome in our sanctuary gatherings. Nursery care and Christian education opportunities are available on Sunday mornings.
NURSERY
It is with the greatest sense of responsibility we provide care for the precious little ones in our midst. Our nursery and childcare is available for infants through preschool age children during Sunday School and worship services. As a congregation, we are committed to providing the best possible childcare available in a safe, sanitary, and stimulating environment staffed by loving, nurturing, and experienced caregivers.
If are interest in dedicating your baby at Peachtree, please see our FAQ.
CHILDREN
Sunday School is an exciting time with hands-on learning experiences that teach children about the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ. Throughout the year we have special programming that highlight the church seasons such as Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter.
TEENS
We are a spiritual family of students and adult volunteers who love Jesus and serve others. Our Sunday morning Bible study, Sunday night youth gathering, and special activities provide an atmosphere of acceptance and love. Youth explore difficult, relevant issues and through the practice of study, mission, and worship become devoted followers of Christ and active worshippers in the family of God.
Being in the heart of the Midtown arts district, Peachtree has a long tradition of our teens participating in C.A.S.T. (Christian Acting and Singing Troupe), and they annually tour—both locally and nationally.
Peachtree Christian Church values the safety and security of all minors in our care. Please review the Child and Youth Protection Policy.
OUTREACH
The notion of “common good” expresses our responsibility to attend to one another in a way that is edifying, enriching, and honoring of God and neighbor. Accordingly, our congregation strives to reach out to our community, city, country and the world. Help us help others; support our Outreach Ministry.

The Church shares the good news of the Gospel through programs that reach children, young people, college students, families, and adults around the world.
The church supports multiple agencies in metro Atlanta that assist with urgent needs such as housing, food, necessities. From our location on famous Peachtree Street, Peachtree Christian Church extends efforts as diverse as providing books for children in Appalachia, respite care for families, disaster relief for storm victims, and many other ways to share hope in a broken and confused world.
Music
Since its establishment in 1925, music has always been a vital component of our worship experience at Peachtree Christian Church. Music is not simply an adjunct to worship but is, in fact, an integral, coordinated servant to the scripture lessons and sermons of each and every worship service.
The architecture of our sanctuary and chapel speak of the importance of music. Whether it be magnificent organ music, ancient or modern hymns, gifted instrumentalists, full orchestras, hand bell choir, vocal solos or choral music; our musical offerings are designed to praise God in the splendor of holiness.
The Sanctuary Choir presents a wide variety of choral music from the Renaissance to Contemporary.
For more information about our traditional musical offerings and rehearsals contact Roy Firestone.
CREATIVE ARTS
Our creative arts team helps to craft and carry the story of our community through video, live production, photography, and other media. By taking up tools and technology to speak good news to our congregation and neighbors, this ministry responds faithfully to God’s calling both in creation and in Christ.

From the CWF Prayer
Providing supportive and loving connections for women through service, spiritual enrichment and education is the mission of the Christian Women’s Fellowship at Peachtree Christian Church.
Through fellowship, group projects and monthly bible study, we encourage women to grow in their faith and develop a sense of responsibility for the whole mission of Jesus Christ. We are affiliated with Georgia Disciples Women, part of a network of Disciples Women in the U.S. and Canada.
Our service projects include financial and in-kind support for Atlanta food pantries, homeless shelters, winter clothing for people experiencing homelessness, books for children in Appalachia, school supplies, support for children in foster care, and numerous other expressions of care and concern.
CWF is open to all women of Peachtree and a good place to get to know us is through our many public events or by attending a meeting.
