Rev. Katie Bond
Executive Minister for Operations & Director of Respite Care

Rev. Katie Bond is an Atlanta native who attended Samford University, graduating cum laude with a B.A. in Theatre. Post graduation, Katie was called to serve in ministry with Peachtree’s youth group and continued her love of theatre while working with the teens on their Christian Acting and Singing Troupe (C.A.S.T.).

After the birth of her third child, Katie switched gears leaving her career in vocational ministry at Peachtree and became a stay at home mom to her three wonderful children. Five years later, in February 2022 Katie was called back to vocational ministry and is delighted to serve on Peachtree’s staff again.

Currently, Katie serves as the Executive Minister for Operations and is the director of The Legacy Club. The Legacy Club is an adult day respite program serving adults with dementia and other forms of cognitive decline and their caregivers. Her energy, compassion and love for people are vital to her ministry and enable her to serve the community with dignity and care.

On Sunday mornings you can find Katie teaching, preaching or serving in worship. Katie is a commissioned Disciples of Christ minister who loves building new relationships, officiating weddings, supporting those in need and organizing stuff with her label maker.
