Prayer Prompt February 23

SCRIPTURE

Scripture: James 1:12

Blessed is anyone who endures temptation. Such a one has stood the test and will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

PRAYER

Lord in Heaven, give me strength and power to turn away from temptations of every size and type. Give me the power to resist evil and weakness and hatred, choosing instead your love and compassion and patience. Help me desire closeness with you above all this world has to offer. Amen.
