SCRIPTURE

Scripture: Matthew 5:14–16

You are the light of the world… let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”

PRAYER

God of love and courage, you have called us not to hide our faith, but to live it openly and honestly. Still, we confess that fear often keeps us quiet — fear of rejection, fear of saying the wrong thing, fear of standing out. During this Lenten journey, give us holy boldness. Shape our words and our actions so they reflect the love of Jesus. Let our lives be a gentle light — rooted in humility, fueled by compassion, and marked by grace. Help us trust that you are already at work and invite us to join you with courage and joy. Amen.
