Prayer Prompt March 10

SCRIPTURE

1 Peter 3:8-9

Finally, all of you, have a unity of spirit, sympathy, love for one another, a tender heart, and a humble mind. Do not repay evil for evil or abuse for abuse; but, on the contrary, repay with a blessing. It is for this that you were called-that you might inherit a blessing.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, in this day and time we too easily fall into a mindset of revenge or tic for tac. Give us the strength and courage to resist that temptation. Help us to have the grace afforded us by our father for those we disagree with. Let us be the example Christ has asked us to be and love thy enemy and care for those less fortunate. In you all things are possible. Amen.
