SCRIPTURE

Acts 17:6

These who have turned the world upside down have come here too.

PRAYER

Gracious Father, At the end of this season we call Lent, we come to the week we now call Holy when You turned the world upside down. You who had been God in the manger came to be God the Son on the cross, in the tomb, then resurrected. Change. You changed – transformed – the whole world. We, of your human creation, often resist change. Help us turn to Holy Week as reminder that you, who turned the world upside down, are Creator of change. Help us see and hear when change is from you and for our good. Give us wisdom to discern and live into change that you are creating and bringing into our lives. Help us not resist You and your gift of change. Amen.
