Prayer Prompt April 20 - Easter Sunday
SCRIPTURE
Scripture: John 20:1 & Luke 24:6 (selected)
Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb…
“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen.”
REFLECTION
Alleluia! Christ is risen! The tomb is empty, and love has triumphed over death. Easter morning is the glorious culmination of God’s redemptive plan. Darkness has been shattered by light, and hope is no longer a wish—it is reality. Today we rejoice with Christians across time and around the world in the victory of Jesus. How is the Holy Spirit renewing your hope this Easter?
PRAYER
Risen Christ, You have conquered death and opened the way to everlasting life. Fill me with resurrection joy and help me live as a person of hope. Let my life be a witness to the power of Your love. Alleluia and Amen!
