Prayer Prompt April 3

SCRIPTURE

Matthew 28:16–20 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. When they saw him, they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

REFLECTION

This passage, known as the Great Commission, calls us to actively participate in sharing the message of Christ with all nations. Despite their doubts, the disciples are entrusted with this mission, underscoring that faith and uncertainty can coexist. Consider how you are being called to live out this commission in your daily life. How is the Holy Spirit speaking to you through this Scripture?

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, you have entrusted us with the mission to spread your love and teachings to all corners of the earth. Equip me with the faith, wisdom, and courage to fulfill this calling. Remind me of your constant presence, especially in moments of doubt, and guide my steps as I seek to make disciples in your name. Amen.
