Who is this that confounds counsel, speaking without understanding?

PRAYER

Gracious God and Heavenly Father, so often I speak when I should listen, most of all to You. You speak … You call, through Your Word, through Your people, through Your creation, through the moving of Your Spirit within and around me and all of us. This Lent, silence my babbling that I may hear You calling o’er the tumult of the world and of my mind. For only when I hear your voice, can I follow Your call. In the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
