PRAYER PROMPT MAR 8

SCRIPTURE

Matthew 20:28

"Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

PRAYER

Creator God, I come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your guidance and strength. I desire to serve others with true compassion and without expecting anything in return. Help me to let go of any desire for recognition or reward when I help those around me. May I serve with pure intentions, simply to reflect Your love and kindness.

Teach me to see others through Your eyes, and to act with humility, remembering that I am no better than anyone else. May I serve others in the way that You would serve, with a heart full of grace and understanding. When I feel tired, remind me that serving is a reflection of Your love and that true joy comes in giving, not receiving.

Lord, help me to cultivate a servant's heart, one that finds joy in lifting others up. May my acts of service bring peace to those in need and glory to Your name.

In Christ's name I pray, Amen.
