Nick received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Lincoln Christian University in 2012 and is currently completing his Masters in Theology from their Seminary.

Nick’s call into vocational ministry has unfolded over a number of years along the two avenues of music and theology. God taught him to root these gifts and loves in the life of the Church as a “steward of the mysteries of God.” God called Nick through study and teaching to communicate the things of God to the people of God, and through prayer and music to help give voice to the worshipping community.

Previously, Nick has served as Young Adults’ Worship and Teaching Minister at Bellevue Christian Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and most recently as the Director of Spiritual Formation at Calvary United Methodist Church in his hometown of Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. His ministry experience includes preaching and teaching, leading worship and shepherding volunteers, organizing and leading small group ministires, and producing resources for study and spiritual formation. He also has teaching experience at the university level.

Nick is married to Katlyn, a gifted artist and passionate servant of the Church. Together they enjoy being outdoors, practicing hospitality, eating good food, and supporting each other’s art. They desire for their home to be a microcosm of new creation. They have one son, Jack.
