Sarah Brasington is a native of the Atlanta area, growing up in Powder Springs with her parents and older brother. After graduating from Samford University in 1998 with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies,

Sarah moved to Texas in 2002 where she received a Masters of Divinity degree from Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University. In 2005, Sarah relocated to the Northeast, where she pioneered the mission of Young Life in the communities of Boston and Cambridge, MA.

She recently returned to her southern roots to be closer to her parents and brother’s family. Sarah has a passion for urban ministry and is most enthused by the opportunity to serve families in a congregation she describes as warm, welcoming, and friendly.

When Sarah isn’t spending time with family or friends, she’s most likely out on a hiking trail with her dog, Titus, or sitting in a coffee shop sipping a fresh cup of black coffee with book in hand. Peachtree’s staff is excited about Sarah’s new infusion of energy, creativity, and passion to serve God and His people at the crossroads of Atlanta.
