Alzheimer’s disease impacts millions of individuals and families—but knowledge, early action, and community support can make a powerful difference. The Atlanta Neuroscience Institute, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association – Atlanta Chapter, invites you to a four-part lecture series designed to educate, empower, and guide individuals, caregivers, and families through every stage of the Alzheimer’s journey. This monthly series brings together leading medical experts, trained educators, and trusted resources to explore the science of Alzheimer’s disease, strategies for reducing risk, tools for caregivers, and essential legal and financial planning considerations—while offering hope through innovation and ongoing research. All sessions are free and offer dinner, but please do register so we can plan for seating and the meals. A continental breakfast will be served, and the morning will also feature a slideshow highlighting the exciting year of Children's Ministry at Peachtree.

Tweens and teens who’ve completed 6th, 7th or 8th grade can join the fun as part of YES! (Youth in Excellent Service) serving in leadership and serving the community through local mission projects. $45 per participant. Calling all performers ages 5–15: it’s time to take your places! Get ready for a week of theatrical magic at Peachtree Christian Church’s Spotlight Drama Camp, where every child is the star of the show.

Our ensemble will dive into an action-packed scripts featuring:

• Solo spotlights: Mastering the art of the monologue.

• Ensemble Energy: Group numbers and harmonies where every voice matters.

• The Actor’s Toolkit: Essential workshops in stagecraft and character development.

The Daily Call: Campers should bring their own "green room" lunch to fuel up between acts; Peachtree will provide the snacks! For a true double-feature, enroll your performer in Vacation Bible School (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM) before they head backstage for Drama Camp until 4:00pm. 

The Grand Finale: The curtain rises on Friday at 3:30 PM! Join us for a special showcase where our cast takes their final bow and dazzles the audience with their newfound talents.

Do you ever feel like your Bible reading gets lost in the weeds? Or that you know passages here and there, but you are missing “the big picture,” “the sweep of things.” Have you ever found yourself asking, “Was this before or after Jesus?” Or, perhaps, you have even wondered, “What could this Bible passage possibly have to do with me?” Then this series is for you! Our study guide will be, “The Unfolding Drama of the Bible,” by the late Prof. Bernhard Anderson. From the back cover: “In ‘The Unfolding Drama of the Bible’ renowned Biblical scholar Bernhard Anderson declares that one does not have to be a convinced Christian “before anything can be gotten out of the study of the Bible….The only condition for fruitful Bible study is that you come with an infinite concern about the question ‘What is the meaning of my life, and the historical crisis in which I and my community are involved?’” Bernhard Anderson was Professor of Old Testament Emeritus at Princeton Theological Seminary. Using his highly accessible study guide, we will engage “the full sweep of the Bible from beginning to end.” His book will lead us through Scripture as it lays out an overarching narrative about salvation history, our place in it, and God’s sovereignty over it. Students are encouraged to attend each week prepared to discuss the chapter assigned for that week (about 8 pages) and the Bible passages that the chapter covers (usually, about five chapters of Scripture). Please, order your own copy of the guide which is available from several on-line sources. Be sure to get the fourth edition (2006). It costs about $20. If the cost is prohibitive, please contact Rev. Gignilliat; the church does offer scholarships.

Our Parenting Class at Peachtree offers a relaxed, discussion-based environment where parents can connect through real conversations, shared experiences, and practical advice. Whether you're raising toddlers or navigating the teenage years, you'll find encouragement and support. We enjoy taking time to pray together, supporting one another through the ups and downs of parenting. New parents are always welcome—come join us for meaningful discussion and a deeper sense of community.

Fellowship is the perfect name for this class, where members gather in a warm, welcoming space to learn, connect, and share in the abundant grace and blessings of God. It’s a place where relationships are built, both through the class and throughout church-wide activities, offering countless opportunities to grow together in faith. 

The class focuses on helping older adults deepen their understanding of the Bible, its relevance and importance to living our Christian faith. Our lessons explore essential themes like faith, joy, love, forgiveness, and the essence of living as a community of believers. Each Sunday, a rotating team of teachers brings new perspectives, blending historical insights with contemporary reflections, sparking thought-provoking discussions and moments of shared growth. 

Come be a part of this vibrant group of prime-time adults as we continue to grow our understanding of Jesus' teachings and what it truly means to live as a community of believers.

The Bible is full of examples of women coming together to encourage one another spiritually. Something special happens when sisters in Christ unite in study, prayer, and encouragement in the faith. Women of all ages are invited to join this new Sunday morning Bible study, where we'll grow together through honest conversation, shared reflection, and time spent in God's Word.

Our study is led by Janet Speer, MDiv, who served as a hospital, hospice, and palliative care chaplain with Emory Healthcare from 2011–2026. She previously spent 11 years as the Women's Ministry Consultant for Georgia Baptists, and she brings a depth of pastoral wisdom and care to every session.

May 2026 Topic — Contentment: A Five-Week Study Contentment is that elusive thing we all want but seems so difficult to achieve. It's the inner peace we long for when our hearts and souls feel out of control. Can we attain contentment? What fights against it, and what feeds into it? Using Philippians 4:1–13 as the basis of our study, we'll come together as women to seek answers to these questions.

All participants are encouraged to bring their Bibles and a journal. New members are always welcome.

Our Youth Sunday School class for middle and high school students (6th-12th grade) is designed to help teens connect with Scripture in a real and meaningful way.

In this 45-minute session, we'll explore how God’s Word speaks directly to the challenges and decisions teens face every day—whether it's friendships, identity, faith, or purpose.

Through engaging teaching and thoughtful discussion, students will not only dive deeper into understanding the character of God, but also strengthen their theology and build a foundation for navigating life with faith and wisdom.

This class is a place to learn, ask questions, and grow together in a supportive, vibrant community.

Logos Men’s Sunday School Class exercises our biblical imagination as we focus on one compelling biblical word at a time. The Legacy Club. There are more than 43 million unpaid caregivers in the US who care for a child or adult family member. The Legacy Club provides respite (a break) for caregivers and their loved ones who are experiencing cognitive decline resulting from loneliness, isolation, stroke, and dementia.

May Partner: Must Ministries

MUST addresses the basic needs of individuals, families and children with facilities in the Cobb and Cherokee counties and programs in numerous other counties. In partnership with the Atlanta Food Bank, MUST works to combat hunger and provide essential resources to those in need. All giving designated towards outreach during the month of May will go towards our support of MUST Ministries and its mission.
