Join family and friends for a Peachtree Christian Potluck!
We are asking everyone to bring their specialty! Bring enough of your item to serve at least 10 – 12 people.
Baked chicken and beverages will be provided by Fellowship Ministry.
Drop your item off in the Burns Hall kitchen. Please use a disposable platter/container or clearly label your item and be prepared to take it home immediately following the meal. Serving utensils will be provided. “Ready to serve” dishes are preferred, but please attach written instructions if any mixing/reheating is needed.
Join the Christian Women’s Fellowship in celebrating the season at the annual Christmas Brunch. This year’s theme is “Christmas Wishes”. The event will feature festive food, music, and the ‘Angel Among Us Award’! We will also be collecting $25 gift cards (Kohls, Target, Walmart, and Old Navy) or cash donations of any amount for the Children’s Village at Christian City.
Enjoy a complimentary light lunch and a heaping helping of Christmas joy as Peachtree’s children share the Reason for the Season. Our Cherub Choir opens the show with “Right Here in a Manger” as the animals gather in the stable for a serenade guaranteed to make you smile. Then saddle up, as our Elementary children take you to the wild, wild, west and bring the wonder of the Nativity story to life in “The Loaned Manger.” Directed by Theresa Hamm-Smith, don’t miss this joyous holiday highlight! Childcare is available on the 2nd floor.
Calling all Elves! Children ages 3 years old – 6th grade are invited to the Super-Secret, Elves-Only Workshop on the 2nd floor to make Christmas gifts for their families. Parents are encouraged to worship in our Evensong service that also starts at 5 pm. Childcare is available for younger siblings in the 2nd floor toddler room. Bring a friend, and share this Peachtree tradition!
Our receptionist Agnes Ogir retired at the end of November after 18 years of dedicated and valuable service to our church. We invite you to greet her and thank her during fellowship time on Sunday, January 7, in the Gathering Space. Cards and notes of appreciation are being collected in Dee Stone’s office and will be presented to her at the event. If you wish to give her a gift, please do so directly at the reception.
