Cards and notes of appreciation are being collected in Dee Stone’s office and will be presented to her at the event. If you wish to give her a gift, please do so directly at the reception.

Multiple ministers at Peachtree make an annual practice of reading Henri Nouwen’s miniature masterpiece on Christian leadership, In the Name of Jesus. Join Rev. Chambers for his annual reading as we reflect for four weeks on what makes a leader uniquely and radically “Christian”—moving from illusion to prayer, from popularity to ministry, and from leading to being led. Two class times available.
Beginning January 17, Rev. Jared Wortman will be teaching a 10-week class working through the entire Gospel of Mark. The goal of the class is to help participants understand the historical, literary, and theological dimensions of the book while also being mindful of responsible applications in today’s world. If possible, please RSVP by January 14.
Do you want to learn from Scripture so it can enrich your life, but you aren’t sure how to do that? Join us for an 11-week dive into Mark’s gospel and gather tools to help you engage with God through Scripture. Peer through the lenses of history, literature, art, and confession to follow Jesus as he inaugurates the Kingdom of God through his life and ministry as told in Mark.
