Join family and friends for a Peachtree Christian Potluck!

We are asking everyone to bring their specialty! Bring enough of your item to serve at least 10 – 12 people.

Baked chicken and beverages will be provided by Fellowship Ministry.

Drop your item off in the Burns Hall kitchen. Please use a disposable platter/container or clearly label your item and be prepared to take it home immediately following the meal. Serving utensils will be provided. “Ready to serve” dishes are preferred, but please attach written instructions if any mixing/reheating is needed.

Join Rev. Nick Chambers as he explores the history of Christianity to recover and renew questions and insights at the neglected yet rich intersection of theology and spirituality. This class will help you answer questions such as “What is the end goal of Christian life, and how to we pursue it in practice?” and “What does it actually look like to be ‘transformed’ and to ‘work out our salvation?’”

Understanding Revelation can be difficult—but it doesn’t have to be! Beginning September 13, Rev. Jared Wortman will be teaching a 13-week class working through the entire book of Revelation. The goal of the class is to help participants understand the historical and social contexts of the book while also being mindful of responsible applications in today’s world.

Midtown Assistance Center Shopping Trip

Midtown Assistance Center Shopping Trip

We need your help! On September 24, the Outreach Ministry will be sponsoring a $1,500 shopping trip to purchase essential food pantry items for the Midtown Assistance Center (MAC).  We need volunteers that can lift heavy items and who have trucks or SUVs to deliver.  Please join us as we shop together, make the delivery, and receive a guided tour of the MAC facility. We will leave from the Peachtree Christian Church parking lot at 12:30 pm, and will return to Peachtree around 3 pm.

Join us on October 21 for a day of meaningful service and fall festivities (live music, free food, inflatables, crafts, lawn games, face painting, and more). Peachtree will be framing a house in the rear parking lot that will be donated to the Fuller Center for Housing so that a local family can be the recipient of a safe and affordable home. All ages are welcome to volunteer and participate.


What to Bring

All tools and building materials will be available on site. There is no admittance fee, but donations, canned goods, and hygiene times will be collected on the day of the house build. Proceeds and collected items will benefit Help Build Hope and Midtown Assistance Center.

Please drop off baked goods in Burns Hall by 10:30 am for live auction consideration
It’s time for the annual Youth Spaghetti Lunch & Cake Auction Fundraiser! Sign up early to donate homemade cakes, pies, cookies, brownies and more to sell at the auction. At noon, feast on the youth’s world famous spaghetti sauce, then buy baked goods to give as gifts or enjoy over the holidays. You will receive raffle tickets for donated items and when you purchase goods. Can’t stay for lunch? Buy it to go! The proceeds benefit hurricane victims and other youth projects and events in 2018, so please – be generous!
